Latest News Milltown Commons hearing to resume Thursday North Stonington - A public hearing on the proposed New England Village Special Design District at the routes 2 and 184 rotary will continue Thursday at 7 p.m. at North Stonington Elementary School at 311 Norwich-Westerly Road. The hearing on the proposed project, which calls for 273 housing units, several restaurants, a hotel, bank, medical center and retail and office space, opened last week at Town Hall, but was moved to the school. The hearing lasted until 11:30 p.m., including a three-hour presentation by representatives from the development firm Milltown Commons LLC. The Milltown Commons public hearing will be followed by a hearing on proposed zoning regulation changes pertaining to storm water management.
